Working at Terry Peak means every morning as I go to work I get to experience the incredible beauty of early morning light.
And then along comes a day like today with a foot of snow so far and winds gusting to 65 mph. It is the wind that is the worst. It makes for poor visibility and a wind chill somewhere below zero. The snow is expected to continue through Monday morning.
We had our last snow on New Years Day and then got spoiled and complacent with two weeks of sun shine and day time temps in the high 40s to low 60s…just like early May. I guess winter wants us to know that it is far from over. I should mention that even with all the warm weather our yard still had about two feet of snow over most of it.
