A second night of bangs and booms…

On July 4th we went to N&L’s house in Richmond, VT for a second night of fireworks. The real hit of the night however was not the fireworks, but the five wood fired pizzas they cooked up for dinner.

An added bonus to the evening was the presence of Nancy’s, Kathy’s sisters, friend Ridge’s son Tye who is doing some traveling and lots of running. Tye had a friend, Ira, traveling with him and we spent a great evening chatting about family, friends, travels and much more.

N, L, T and I

The Richmond Fireworks Show was a great one. In many ways it was better than the larger show in Burlington.

It makes me want to build a wood fired oven when we get back to SD, but if we are not going to be there in the summer maybe it’s not such a great idea. and then again we only have two months of real summer and the rest is winter so we would have ten months to use it.
